dinktoohigh started as a pickleball meme instagram account and somehow turned into a tiny shop making cute things for people who are maybe a little too obsessed with pickleball.
The name came from a conversation with a friend about the subreddit r/TVTooHigh. I joked, “my dink too high,” thought it was funny, and kept the name.
The shop itself started as a hobby in March 2026. I designed a little pickleball holder for myself because I was constantly losing balls at the bottom of my bag—or showing up to the courts without one. A friend saw it and asked if she could buy one. Then another person wanted one, and another, and somehow my little personal project became dinktoohigh.
Today, dinktoohigh is my tiny design studio for playful pickleball accessories, characters, and other things I think should exist. Everything starts with something I genuinely want to make or use myself, with the hope that it makes someone else’s day a little more fun too.

aka Hellyante, the founder and designer behind dinktoohigh.
I've been playing pickleball since 2023. I started this sport with no athletic background and no expectations, but I fell in love with the game, both getting better at it and community that comes with it. That's also what inspired the original dinktoohigh meme account. I used to get too down on days when I didn't play well. Making silly pickleball memes became my reminder that it's really not that serious. We're just hitting a whiffle ball at each other at the park.
Before dinktoohigh became my creative pursuit, I spent several years working as a licensed architect. I've always loved designing and making things.
I grew up in Los Angeles and later moved to the San Jose Bay Area, which is where I now design, prototype, and make dinktoohigh products locally.
